Post Cards From South Beach

I was so fortunate to spend the weekend in South Beach with Pat who was at a convention.   While he was in meetings I had lots to explore:  the Art Deco architecture--pale and elegant like seashells, bright and bold galleries, and The Wolfsonian Museum which featured an amazing collection of postcards and textile samples from the Wiener Werkstatte.  These early 20th century works merged high and low art in their superior design of products.  In short, they impressed me, and I want to learn more about them.

It was sublime to read, draw, and even paint a few watercolors.  The latter most is far from my forte.  It's a real shame, too. because watercolors are so easy to pack!
