Pre-chool Friday Enrichment: Week One

Last Friday was my first enrichment class at Penelope's pre-school, Pilgrim.  We made nature weavings, printed with okra, and carved leaf stamps into styrofoam treys, designed sketchbook covers with oil pastels.  The kids moved much faster than I had expected but were so great at tackling everything I through their way.  The overall goal for this four session class is to expose these little hands to many different materials (particularly textiles) and media while exploring nature and art.  I'm having fun and hoping they are, too.
